Most frequent questions and answers
Any solo artist aged 18 or older with Indian citizenship or residence can participate in Supernova Star Search. You must be performing original or covered English-language music. You can participate if you are younger than 18, as long as you have the permission of your parent or guardian.
We’re offering a total prize pool of ₹1 Crore. This includes cash prizes, artist development, professional video shoots, music production, and national PR.
Yes. This edition is focused on vocal performers—solo artists performing original or cover songs. There is no separate songwriting or band component in this round.
Auditions happen via the online form on this page (https://moksha360.com/supernova-star-search/). You’ll need to record your audition on your phone, register and upload your audition video by the deadline. (May 26th)
Only English-language vocal music is eligible. You can have some regional language parts, but the song should be mainly in English. Original compositions and covers are both allowed.
Each of the three regional competitions will have a Grand Winner, a Runner-Up, and four Consolation Winners. That’s 8 winners per region.
The judges include Grammy-certified and industry-renowned figures such as Pravin Mani, Sunitha Sarathy, and Vasundhara Das.
You’ll receive a development contract from Moksha 360, professional production for your music and video, a comprehensive marketing push, and nationwide exposure.
Only shortlisted submissions may be showcased publicly. All rights remain with you until any contractual agreement is made.
Yes. This competition is for emerging and independent artists, even if you’ve had prior releases
